Sunset
Sunsets on Indu Beach can be stunning, as can the afterglow lighting up any clouds from below. It varies through the year, typically around 18.30.
As we all know the sun sets in the West.. or does it ?. From Indu Beach you can see the sunset move throughout the year. In January it sets to the left (South), over the mountains of the mainland. Later in the year it sets to the right (North) over the Coconut plantation. Ponder that one while floating in your pool and try to guess which island, peak or valley the sun will set over this evening ?.
Weather
It's tropical and the island's rain forests and dramatic waterfalls all depend on the rain. The rainy season in Koh Samui occurs at a very different time compared to Phuket. The rainiest months are generally considered November to January
Activities
At low tide the sandflats are ideal for long walks or runs , exploring rock pools, exercise, yoga, frisbee, horseriding, or just chilling with a drink watching the scenery.boats, birds and wildlife.
When the tide is in take out a kayak or snorkel or both.
Horseriding on the beach is available daily for beginners to advanced several times each day including magical sunset rides
Some of the villas can arrange massages and spa treatments in the comfort of the villa.
Eating Out
Indu Beach has a wide range of eateries, some will deliver to your villa, some have live music, depending on the season, but it's not usually load.-We will try to maintain an up to date list here. The nearest restaurant is The Mud, about 100m north from Indu Beach, then we have Ran Rao, Aromi Diversi (authentic Italian), For Rest Bar, Johm Thong Reggae Station
The nearest restaurants to the North include Aquabica (Barista Coffee and some food but not open early enough for sunrise or late enough for sunset
Shopping
There are a number of small local shops just outside the community with a fair range of products.
The closest supermarket is on the main 4169 Ring Road on the left when heading towards Nathon
Wood shops selling large Thai tables, beds etc are just opposite the neighbouring The Mud restaurant.
